We have now arrived at a point where you have completed all of the information that we need in order to start generating your contracts. In the below example you can see that I have completed all of the steps and that I cannot continue further:

Again, depending on the needs of the organisation at which you are onboarding yourself, you might not see the KYC questionnaire and Additional info section. Or, in case of a business onboarding your would see other sections like the legal entity.

The company at which you are onboarding yourself (i.e. bank, asset manager, or any other) will now check your case by reviewing the data that you have entered and in certain cases will check you against international sanction lists, PEP-lists or does an adverse media screen.

Once they are satisfied with onboarding you as a new customer they will generate the contracts. As you can see below, you are now able to access the signing section:

If you click on "View" then you will see the status of all of the people that need to sign the contracts. In this example we are doing a natural person onboarding, which means there is only one party that needs to sign the contracts (i.e. you), however, in a business onboarding there could be multiple UBOs and legal representatives that need to sign the contracts

As you can see, the current status is "Email sent", so please check the email address that you have registered in your onboarding. Please open the mail and click on the link which is embedded in the email as shown below:

You will now be re-directed to the environment of "Signhost" which is a third party provider that we use in order to digitally sign contracts.

In the dashboard you can see which documents you need to sign. Please click on the first contract to review it

After reviewing the contract please click on "Next" as shown below

Please follow the same step for the other documents (if any), until they all have a green tick in front of it. If this is the case, then please click on "Next" at the bottom of the screen:

You now need to digitally sign the documents. In order to identify that it is actually you that is signing these documents the company at which you are onboarding yourself might ask you to sign with one or more of the following methods:

  • iDIN (Netherlands)

  • IDEAL (Netherlands)

  • Itsme (Belgium)

  • SMS

  • Scribble

In my example, only SMS was enabled and this looks as follows:

You will receive an SMS code on your mobile phone number that you have indicated in your onboarding registration. When you have received the SMS code, please fill it in and click on "Verify". You are now asked to confirm that you would like to continue and sign all of the documents. If this is the case, please click on "Sign", if not click on "Back"

You have now completed the process and should see the following screen:

If you would log back into your account, then you would see that all sections have been completed:

Finally, you can also check whether you have received the signed contracts in your inbox:
