How to upload documents in the Blanco Client File module

Over the course of the relationship with your customer you will gather and receive additional documents that you would like to store to the file of your customer. These could be, for instance, minutes of meetings you had with your customer, new company statutes and more. Luckily, there is an easy way to do this, so let's get started.

As a first step, please go to the Client File overview, you can do so either on natural person, business or product level, and select the customer or product for which you would like to upload additional documents.

You will now see the details of your customer/product. Go to the Document Center by selecting this in the left-hand view:

Documents like a copy of the passport, a marriage certificate or the outcome of the PEP and sanction list screening are documents which are stored on the level of the "Party", while a contract is on the level of the product.

In most cases you will upload documents on the level of the product, so below we will focus on this, although the process is the same for uploading documents on party level. In order to open the product-view from the party dashboard, first click on "Visit the product":

In the "Product" section, click on "Document Center" and click on "Upload document" as shown below:

You can now select one file (or multiple) from a folder of your computer or simply drag and drop them in the window as shown below

Before pressing "Upload" you should indicate whether you would like your customer to view this document, or not, in the Client Portal. If so, then this document becomes available in the "Document centre" of the online portal so that your customer can review it.

Finally, in case you have to upload a lot of documents to multiple clients at the same time, then there is a "Bulk file upload" functionality available. Please ask your Blanco representative for additional information on this process, we are more than happy to help you further!
