Introduction
Blanket temperature sensors continuously monitor your coolers, even when your team is done for the day; protecting your inventory and improving your bottom line. Set up tags, connect them to assets, and add alerts and rules so you instantly know what's happening and what to do about it.

Edit Sensor Names
Log into your company dashboard and navigate to Sensors under the Food Safety menu.
Find the location where you want to change the sensor name. Click on the sensor that you'd like to edit.
Once you are in the sensor's data screen, tap the 3-dot menu on the right corner of the page, and select EDIT.
Change the name of the sensor in the "Name" field. Be sure to verify that the ID code matches the ID code on the side of your sensor.
Always hit SAVE.
Sensor Tags
Adding tags to your sensors allow you to establish consistency and organization across your locations. Tags allow you to categorize your equipment; like fridges and freezers, for example, or Bar and Kitchen. Use them however you want!
With tags, you can set up rules so that if a particular category of assets goes out of temp, the right person can be notified.
On the web portal, in the top right, find Edit Sensor Tags to begin. Then click on the blue Add Sensor Type to create a tag.
Set up Alert Rules
Set up Rules to trigger alerts across many assets; including when the sensors go offline, which may happen periodically.
From the Sensor Dashboard, go to the Rules tab, and find the blue +Sensor Rule button in the top right.
The Rule builder allows you to set up triggers based on Temperature, Offline and uses tags to cover many assets at once.
You can set multiple operations from this one screen. Maybe you want to send a notification if the asset is out of temp for one hour, but after 2 hours you want to notify someone else in the organization or fire a template to trigger for that location to complete.
You can also create an issue ticket from an out-of-temp asset. Just select what category this Issue type will be, and the system will create an issue when triggered.
