Introduction
Action Plans are like a punch list; a collection of Tasks that can be created from within an existing list, or can be made on their own at anytime. They can contain one single task or a whole list of to-do items. The Action Plan can be assigned to a specific user, have a due date, and progress can be tracked on the web portal. Tasks within an action plan can also have their own assignee, due date, and priority. You can even add existing Tasks to a new Action Plan.

You're walking through your location, and notice multiple areas that need attention and follow-up. You snap a bunch of pictures as you're moving through the space. You can upload them all at once to Blanket using Action Plans, and add notes for each picture, provide a summary for the collection of photos you took, and assign this to someone to complete by a certain due date.
First, name your Action Plan. This will appear on the Task Card on the Feed. Then, assign this list to a position in the organization, set a due date and priority level. You can also add an optional summary or just general notes.
If you set a due date, the action plan will disappear after the date; completed or not. Remember: Do not set a due date or this action plan will be gone from your feed on both the webpage and mobile app.
Select "Add Actions." From here, you can add each action one at a time, or use the "multi add" option in the corner to upload multiple pictures at once.
Each picture will create a task. Tap a photo to add notes and detailed instructions. You must enter a name for the task (see red arrow below), best to keep it short. This will appear as the task content in the Action Plan task list.
Continue to add whatever details you like for this Task. Each photo, with their notes, will become a single task to complete within the collection of the single Action Plan, and will appear on the location's feed under the Action Plan category.
Use the BACK arrows to return to the summary page and assign the collection to another user to complete and set your "due by" date. Once you're done, select SUBMIT. The Action Plan will immediately appear on the location's feed for the team to view.
Make an Action Plan While Performing a List
While performing a task list or an audit, you can create Actions as you go. This is a great tool for noting things that need to be done later without interrupting the flow of the current task list you're performing.
On each task, you'll see an option to add an Action. Just like above, you'll need to name the task, and add a photo of what needs to be done. You can add more information in the description box as well.
When you are done with the task list, and tap the blue Submit button, and actions were created during this list, you'll be prompted to view your action plan; then simply assign the action plan to a user, set a due date and set a priority.
Once you fill in the info, tap submit, you're list is in and the Action Plan will fire back to the Store Feed.
Action Plans on Web
Action Plans are a collection of tasks, so you can view them all together from the Actions Plan page on the web portal.
Below you can see inside of one Action Plan, that contains two tasks. You can see this plan has it's own due date and Assignee, but each task is also assigned separately.
Notice the chat thread to the right of the screen. This allows leadership and the front line team responsible for completing the Action plan to communicate about the tasks all in one place. You can @mention other users to get their attention and make sure the work is getting done!
As each task gets completed, the progress bar of the Action Plan will increase.
