Vendors are where you can add third-party entities and you can create as many vendors are you need for your organizations. Then, you can add your vendors to your issue tickets as you customize them.

To recap, Issues in Blanket are used for reporting something that needs to be documented, followed up with, and communicated about over time. Maintenance issues, for example, can be sent directly to a vendor by email as a work order. Issues do not need a vendor to resolve, but you can certainly send them if you need to.

Creating custom vendors can be done from the settings page, or from the Issues Table on the web. See the video for a quick tour.

How to Add Vendors to Issues

Adding vendors to your issues will notify them. Simply click on the issue that you want to add a specific vendor; this will not affect the status of the issue ticket.

All the vendors that you have added will be available for you to choose from when you click the pencil button to edit. Vendors will be at the bottom and when you are done adding the vendor, hit save!

How to Add Vendors to Issues On Mobile

To add vendors on mobile; find the issue then click on the three dots above. This will bring you to either send to vendors or edit. Click send to vendors and there your vendors list will appear as well.
