Video used in in-app messages can be a valuable feature for many brands. Please be aware that you need the latest Braze SDK version and video enabled in the SDK.
Also, I'd like to point out that not all platforms allow videos in their in-app messages. If you are not a Braze customer, please get in touch with your CSM to clarify if videos will work for you.
In the in-app message, you need the following:
A single in-app message with the video component
A URL to a mp4/mov video. The mp4/mov video needs to be hosted.
YouTube links are currently not supported.
1 - Add the video link
2 - Upload a Thumbnail or enter a link to your thumbnail
3 - Adjust the height of your video component
The video can cover the whole background if you toggle it on.
