Identifying hydrants / water supply flow by color coding

By default, hydrants are colored by FLOW RATE.

See further below for an option to color hydrants by Main Diameter.

Color Hydrants by Flow Rate

The following symbols are used to represent water supplies (hydrants and draft sites).

We are using the NFPA 291 Recommended Practice for Fire Flow Testing and Marking of Hydrants.

Color Hydrants by Water Main

The Org Admin can choose to set the Water Supply icon based on Main Diameter (Admin | Manage Organization).

For hydrants that have water Main Diameter values, they will be shown with a different symbol that includes the diameter. Otherwise, water supplies will default to normal hydrant coloring scheme and icons.
