Authors can control edit vs. view mode

To help streamline the viewing of completed preplans, there is a clickable toggle button in the upper right of the top bar of Blazemark to show/hide the edit controls. Turning OFF edit mode reduces the clutter of the authoring features.

When you toggle edit on, you will see, for example, the ability to create a new preplan:

Here is a short video showing how it works:

Toggle Behavior

The mode will start in the "OFF" position to keep the user interface uncluttered. Once you toggle the mode to "ON" it will remain on until you either toggle it back to "OFF" or logout.

How it Works

When you are viewing a preplan/structure and its related data the ability to edit the information is now controlled by the toggle. The intent is to show all manner of edit and add new (+)  buttons when mode is "ON":

Edit Mode OFF

This will result in display of only existing elements. For example, if you have defined a Sprinkler in a structure, it will be shown. If you have not defined any Shutoffs, that section will not be shown.

The edit controls and "empty" element sections will be hidden when the mode is set to "OFF".

Note that even the menu nav bar reflects the different mode, only showing elements that have data when you are not in edit mode.

The primary intent is to make the preplan view as simple as possible when not in edit mode.

Edit Mode ON

This will result in display of all available element types that can be added.
