Overview

For Fire Departments with multiple stations, you can add your stations as special Structures (see below).

1) Setup Your Fire Station(s)

Create a structure to represent your fire station, and designate it as such:

2) Set the User Preference

Click on the Gear Menu:

Edit your user settings and choose your station.

Users can then assign themselves to their station:

Which will result in Blazemark recognizing the user's starting point for:

  • Showing the map preplan view

  • Providing the starting address for the β€œDrive To” links

Instead of seeing a "zoomed out" view of all of the organization preplans, users who have selected a Fire Station as a starting address, will see their station and the surrounding area. These users can still zoom out manually, or otherwise see all of the preplans.

3) Preplan View is now Centered around your Station

Map Defaults to Street Zoom Level

4) View Stations on Map

From the Admin menu you can view all of the stations
