In most cases, the default settings are automatically tuned to work for the vast majority of our clients.

However, if any of the following happen frequently, consider adjusting some of these values to see if your problem is alleviated. Don't hesitate to contact us if you are still having issues.

  • An address has been entered that is definitely on the premises of a large footprint preplan (for example a large apartment complex that spans blocks). However it is not close enough to the official address that the preplan uses, and therefore it is not found as a match.

    • For this you should increase the Preplan Match Distance

  • If you search for an address and are interested in seeing more water supplies than the default number

    • Increase the WaterSupply Search Distance

When searching for an address there are two modes of operation with some options that you can adjust.

  1. A preplan is found at or near that address

    • Perhaps you need to adjust how "near" is near enough?

    • You can adjust how close a preplan needs to be in order for it to be considered being "at" the entered address

    • Some apartment complexes are large and have nearby addresses that should also resolve to the apartment preplan

  2. A list of nearby preplans and water supplies are shown

    • You may wish to control how many water supplies you see in the list

    • This is based on a combination of distance from the address entered, and simply limiting the list shown to a specific number (25, for example)
