In a hurry?
From the main Preplans (map) view:
Switch to "Edit Mode."
Click on "New"
Choose a type to start (you can't go wrong :-))

Types of Preplans
We have a simple way to create different types of preplans:
Single Structure -- standalone structures -- suitable for commercial businesses. You will also see structure templates as choices.
Office Park/Campus Style -- multiple structures under one "parent" preplan -- suitable for schools, manufacturing sites, office parks, malls, etc.;
Structure with Site Details: structure preplan plus site info, staging areas, hazmats on the grounds, etc.
From the preplan overview page, you can click on "New" to see the following dialog to get started (it will look different than below).
Our Approach
If you have a single structure that you want to preplan, then choose "Single Structure" or select from one of the available templates.
If you want to enter multiple buildings for a given preplan, select the "Office Park/Campus Style."
