How does initiating a Team Buy differ from joining one?

​Starting a Team Buy:

When you initiate a Team Buy, you first secure the product at the Team Buy discounted rate. Then, it's about finding a friend to share this deal with. If, for some reason, no one joins your Team Buy before the time runs out, the transaction will be canceled and the amount refunded to you.

Joining an Existing Team Buy:

Joining an ongoing Team Buy means you're accepting an invite from someone who's already locked in the Team Buy price. Your role? Simply complete the checkout. Once that's done, both your and the host's orders will be processed and readied for delivery.
