When you start a free trial with Blidz, we place a temporary $0.5 - $1 verification hold on your payment method. This is not an actual charge but a standard practice to verify that your payment method is valid and can be used for future transactions if you decide to continue with our service after the trial period.

Here's what you need to know about the verification hold:

  • Temporary Authorization: The hold amount is released on our end within 24 hours. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds should return to your account within 1-2 business days. You will also receive an email stating that the amount has been refunded to you.

  • No Permanent Charge: You will not be charged this amount permanently. It's simply a way to ensure that your card is active and has sufficient funds.

  • Transparency: We aim to make this process as transparent as possible. Information about the verification hold is provided during the trial sign-up process

If the verification hold hasn't been released back to you after 1-3 business days, we recommend contacting your bank or card issuer, as processing times can vary.
