If it’s just a short absence (eg. annual leave) and you continue to receiving your pay as usual, then nothing changes. If your leave is longer (such as maternity, paternity, adoption or sick pay) then your salary sacrifice payments can be suspended for up to 6 months. We would extend the hire agreement accordingly and you would just pick up where you left off when you return to work full time. In this scenario you would keep your bike and drop down to the insurance and maintenance plan paid directly to Blike.
