Hub Launch Page

What launch pages are and how to use them to boost engagement in your Hub

Updated this week

Admins can set a piece of Hub content as the default landing page on Web or Desktop. This means it will be the first thing users see when they access the Hub. They can also set content as the default landing page within folders, displaying when a user clicks into a folder.

Launch pages can be a Page, Micro-App, Shortcut, File, Form or Video as long as the desired content is saved in the folder it will function as the launch page for. This allows Admins to promote and boost engagement to certain content in your Hub. Examples may include the organization's social media policy/code of conduct, a feedback form, a welcome video, or the Recognition micro-app.

Although only admins and content moderators are able to edit or set default content, once it is set up, it will affect everyone who accesses the Hub or the specified folder.

💡 Helpful Hint

The chosen content you are setting as the default landing page for your Hub and folders therein should be relevant to the full audience that it's shared with.

Setting the default launch page

  1. Ensure you have the correct roles as mentioned above.

  2. Head to the Admin Page, then to the Hub tab.

  3. Find the content you want to be launched after opening the Hub, or when opening a specific folder.

  4. Click the three little dots and click "Set as landing page".

  5. Now, when the Hub (or specific folder) is opened the content will automatically display in the right-hand pane.

Removing the default launch page

If you need to change or remove the current default page for a folder, follow the steps provided above. This time, the option will show as "Remove Default Page" which you can select to remove it as your launch page.

Alternatively, you can select a new piece of content and choose to “Replace Landing Page”.
