The base hours tab is a value you can enter to show how many hours constitute a “normal work day.” For example, I put 8 hours, but 10 hours is not uncommon. You can then use the 1.5x and 2x fields depending on how much overtime is applied to the line item beyond the base hours. The BlinkBid software will then calculate the total number for you. As pictured below, I have a stills photographer at $300 dollars per day for 1 day with base hours of 8 ($37.5/hour). Factoring in the overtime, BlinkBid works this out to be $356.25 for the whole day.
