For example, create a “SanFrancisco” tag and apply to some of my contacts so you can search for them quickly by specific location.
Note: The tags for the contacts do not appear for the companies. They are separate entities.
To add a tag, click on a contact and enter text into the "Tags/Groups" field. Begin typing and you will see the tags you have already created.
Finish typing to create a new tag. Add as many tags as you want.
To delete an existing tag, press the small "x."
The process is the same for Companies.
Access the "Companies" tab, click on a Company, and start typing inside the "Company Tag/Group" field.
Once you have tags saved inside the contact, you can use the "Select Tags" button to search for particular classifications.
Choose "Apply" and the list will appear, which you can then export, by clicking on the ellipses and choosing "Export Filtered Contacts."
