If you're having formatting issues or errors when copying and pasting in the Job Description or Address Book, try to use a clean paste.

You may find that you’re often copying and pasting job descriptions from agency briefs sent to you in MS Word or PDF documents. Here is a tip on how to do it cleanly so that the hidden characters that are often in Word Processing and PDF documents don’t mess up the look of your estimate or invoice:

In Google Chrome, paste by using the keys Command-Shift-V, which stands for Paste and Match Style.

In the Safari Browser, you can do the same with Control-Command-Shift-V. This will paste clean text into your job’s description field and allow you to easily do your own formatting.

You can also type directly into the job description and use the tool features within the field to edit the text further.
