No, buying a tax report is not a subscription with a one-year term. You purchase a calendar year with its tax report permanently. So there are no hidden costs.
Example
If you purchase a tax report for the tax year 2021, you keep permanent access to this year from the purchase on and after the calendar year ends, and you can create unlimited tax reports for this year. If you also need 2022, you have to purchase the tax year 2022 as well.
