Blocks uses two factor authentication as a second layer of security and user identification.  In addition to entering an email/password combination, a text will be sent to the user’s cell phone via SMS with a unique numerical code.  The user must enter the code on the login page to gain access to the site.

The code that is sent is good for 5 minutes.

You should only set 2FA up with your own number.

You should not share your 2FA code with anyone to allow them to log in to your account.

How to change the two factor authentication number:

For your own number: If you are logged in, you can click on the lego head in the upper right hand corner of your Blocks window to make this change.

For another user: Impersonate the user and click the Lego head in the upper right hand corner of your Blocks window to make this change*.

*This will send a verification code to the new phone number.  If you are not able to get this code from the user, send us a support request and we can make this change on our end.
