There are a few reasons why you may need to delete a packet or shift, whether it is unredacted or a duplicate, a loading error in the packet, or incorrect details in the shift that were found before Visual QC has started. It may even be a shift or delivery that was created in error. Before a packet is uploaded to a shift, you can click the three dots to the left of the shift details and select Delete to delete the shift yourself.
If you need to delete an uploaded packet or delivery, send us a support request and we can take care of that right away.
Note that if you need a packet deleted before it starts Visual QC, we will need to delete the entire shift that the packet is attached to. You will need to create the shift again, then upload the corrected packet.
However, if your packet is flagged in Visual Qc as needing a correction, you will be able to reupload the packet directly to the Flag View in the Group Manager/Field Manager inbox. In that case, you will not need to create a new shift.
We don’t recommend deleting users, but rather disabling them. This can be done in the Users page by clicking the 3 dots to the left of the user details and selecting Disable.
