To add a script for callers to follow while in a phone bank, click on the phone bank and scroll down. Click ‘Script’ to see the default first script object.
To add a cause statement in the first object, click the small pencil icon. Or click the x icon to remove this introduction altogether.
In the script that callers see, this first statement will populate with the participant name the caller is contacting as well as the caller’s name and whatever cause statement you add here.
You can then click on any of the buttons below to add instructions, add dialog, add questions and divide your script into sections.
To add an Instruction or Dialog, click on ‘Add Instructions’ or ‘Add Dialog’ and a field will appear below.
Type in your instructions or dialog and click ‘Save.’
You will note that you also have the option to add an interpolated value to any of your script objects. Like the caller name and participant name in the cause statement, any of these values will populate in the call scripts for your callers.
To add a question to your script, click ‘Add Question.’
Enter your question text. For question type, you can choose between Single Answer, Checkboxes and Open-Ended. For single answer and checkbox questions, there will be default answers of yes, no and maybe populated for you. You can type in the field to change these options and click the small plus sign to add additional response options. Once you have completed creating your question, click ‘Save.’
You can also click on ‘Add Section’ to separate your longer scripts into sections. You can add any question types to any section and organize the script items however works best for your organization.
To edit a script part, click the pencil icon to the right of the details. To delete a part, click the small gray X icon. To move a script part, click the up and down arrows on the far right to change the part’s position in the script.
