How to share respondents submission copy to their email?

Pre-requisite: Get things started by configuring your email provider. Find out how to set up Gmail or Outlook as your email provider. You can also choose other email providers as well from the list.

Here is a quick guide on how to do it:

  1. Add an Email component as one of your question types in your survey or form to get the respondent's email ID.

  2. Under Settings -> Notifications -> Email Notifications -> Thank You Email, select Send a notification to as the question that gets the respondent's email ID in the survey.

  3. You can add the subject and body of the mail and check the Send a notification with a detailed response box to select the details that must be shown to the respondent.

  4. Click Subscribe.

Send Response Copies Based on Conditions

You can choose to send respondents a copy of their submission only when certain conditions are met.

Under Thank You Email Notification:

  1. Scroll to the Send Condition section.

  2. Click Add condition.

  3. Select:

    • The survey question to evaluate.

    • The comparison operator.

    • The value to compare against.

  4. Add additional conditions or conditional groups as needed.

  5. Save the configuration.

The email will only be sent to respondents whose responses match the configured conditions.

Example Use Cases

  • Send a confirmation email only to registered event attendees.

  • Deliver onboarding instructions to qualified applicants.

  • Send promotional offers only to respondents who opt in.

  • Provide different follow-up communications based on survey responses.
