What happens if a circle member receives a payout and then leaves the circle before contributing their share?
Updated over a year ago

In the event a member receives their payout and then decides to leave the circle before they've completed their contributions, the following process should be followed:

  1. The member must first send a request to leave the circle using the Bloom Money app.

  2. Upon making this request, the circle admin will automatically receive a notification about the member's intention to leave.

  3. The member intending to leave should then directly communicate with the circle creator. This discussion is important to address any outstanding contributions and understand how their departure might affect the circle. The member leaving may want to propose a payment plan or other arrangements to fulfil their obligations.

Bloom Money enforces policies and potential penalties in these situations to uphold the integrity of the circle and ensure fairness for all members.

Members who leave under these circumstances might face restrictions or penalties as outlined in our Policy for Member Leaving.

We encourage all members to commit to their responsibilities when joining a circle and to communicate openly if situations change, to maintain trust and reliability within the community.
