Key Features of the Journal Entry Explorer

Interactive View

The Interactive View within the Journal Entry Explorer provides a dynamic and flexible interface for managing journal entries. It allows users to switch between different entry types (orders, revenue recognition, cancellations, etc.), apply custom date ranges, and configure grouping and filtering options to tailor data presentation.

  • Navigate to the Explorer under the Journal Entry menu to access an interactive view of your journal entries.

  • Switch between different entry types such as orders, revenue recognition, cancellations, and more.

  • Apply custom date ranges, grouping preferences, and filters to tailor the view to your needs.

Template View

The Template View serves as a centralized hub for managing and exporting templates with pre-applied general ledger (GL) account mappings. It eliminates the need for repetitive filtering, allowing users to access their templates in a structured and organized format.

  • No need to reset filters or groupings every month.

  • Save custom views to quickly access relevant journal entry data in a seamless, user-friendly interface.

Enhanced Exporting Capabilities

Now export all in one file allowing users to efficiently export multiple templates and journal entries in a structured format with their custom settings intact. This feature ensures seamless data management and reporting by reducing the need for manual adjustments.
