There are three required steps that will allow you to share PayPal transaction data with Blue Onion.

  1. Create PayPal App

  2. Set Permissions

  3. Save and Send Credentials


Create PayPal App

  1. Navigate to the PayPal Developer Portal

  2. Sign in as Admin

  3. Click Live

  4. Click Create app

  5. Fill in BlueOnion for the app name, choose 'merchant account' in the radio button, and click Create

Set Permissions

In the Live App Settings, make sure the Transaction Search, Customer Disputes, and Payouts options are enabled. Click Save.

Save and Send Credentials

  1. After you select Create App you should be directed to a page that shows your PayPal account name, Client ID, and Client Secret.

  2. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and paste them into the form on the Blue Onion PayPal integration page.
