How Bluedot makes money?

Unlike traditional banks that make money by charging you fees, Bluedot makes money from ‘interchange’ fees paid by the merchant bank.

When you use your Bluedot Card, card networks collect a service fee (kind of like a tax for the merchant charging your card), and Bluedot gets a percentage of that fee. That means we don’t have to rely on traditional fees and we can pass the savings on to you. Also, every time you spend at nearby stores you find on our app, we earn a small commission from those merchants.

Also, Bluedot has profit-sharing arrangements with our merchants. When you claim an offer on Bluedot and make your purchase, you get what you want (electric, food, etc), and the merchant does the same - more customers and sales! Bluedot then charges a fee from each incremental transaction it brings to the merchant, so we only get paid when both you and the merchant are happy.
