How to Create a Bluedot Account
Welcome to Bluedot! We are excited to have you join our community of EV users. In order to get started, you will need to create a Bluedot account. This article will guide you through the steps of creating your account and provide helpful tips along the way.
Step 1: Enter Your Contact Information
The first step in creating your Bluedot account is to enter your phone number and email on the first page. This will be used to contact you regarding your account and any updates or promotions.
If you have a reference code, be sure to enter it in the designated field.
Step 2: Create a Passcode
For security reasons, we require all users to create a passcode. This passcode will be asked every time you open the application. Choose a unique and secure passcode that you will remember.
Step 3: Confirm Face ID
To make your login process even easier, you can confirm Face ID on your device. This will save you from having to enter the passcode every time you start up the app. Simply follow the prompts on your device to set up Face ID.
Step 4: Enter Your Personal Information
Next, we will need some basic information about you. Enter your first and last name, making sure the information is correct. This will help us personalize your experience on Bluedot.
Step 5: Enter Your Address Information
We will also need your address information for account verification purposes. Please enter your current address accurately.
Step 6: Specify Your Occupation
In order to better understand our community, we ask that you specify your occupation. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
Step 7: Enter Your SSN and Date of Birth
For security purposes, we require your Social Security Number and date of birth. Please note that we will not inquire about your credit score.
Step 8: Prove Your Identity
To ensure the security of your account, we require you to provide necessary documents for identity verification. This may include a government-issued ID or proof of address. Rest assured that your information will be kept confidential.
Document type for adress verification: You need to provide a Utility Bill, Bank Statement, Lease Agreement, Pay Stub, Insurance Bill/Statement, etc.
Note: Please note when uploading files that the supported file types are pdf, jpeg or png and the maximum size of a document is 20mb.
Additional documents may be required to verify your identity or address. Please note that we don’t store any of the documents you provide.
Step 9: Wait for Approval
Once your documents have been reviewed and approved, your account will be opened and you will be notified by email. This process typically takes 1-2 business days.
Step 10: Enter Your Electric Car's VIN Number
As a community for electric car owners, we require you to enter your car's VIN number. This will help us provide you with personalized content and updates related to your specific vehicle.
