Keeping your BlueDriver MAX sensor's firmware up to date ensures you get the most accurate scans, the latest vehicle coverage, and any bug fixes or performance improvements we've released. Updating only takes a few minutes and is done right from the BlueDriver mobile app.
Before you start:
Make sure you're on the latest version of the BlueDriver mobile app.
Make sure your phone has a good internet connection, since the update needs to download.
Update your sensor's firmware
Start a vehicle and let it run.
Plug the sensor into the OBD2 port of the running vehicle.
Open the BlueDriver app.
Connect to the sensor.
Once connected, tap More at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Update Sensor.
Tap Check for Updates.
If an update is available, tap Update Sensor to begin.
Do NOT unplug the sensor or close the app while the update is running.
Let the update process complete to 100%.
Once the update finishes, return to the Homepage and wait for the sensor to reconnect. You can then continue scanning vehicles as usual.
That's it. Your sensor is now running the latest firmware!
