To onboard new students using the Class Code, the facilitator first needs to copy the class code and then share with the student for their sign up process. The steps below outline the process and the two videos after show it on platform.
From your teacher Dashboard, click "My Classroom" at the top of your screen.
If you have't created your class, click "Add new classroom" on the top right and name your class. Then, "Go to Class."
If you've already created your classroom, click the yellow "Go to Class" button.
Note: Make sure the Lessons are unlocked or the students won't be able to view them.
Once in the classroom dashboard, click "My Students."
Scroll down to the white "Class Code" button and click on it to copy to your clipboard. You can save this in your notes or on a piece of paper.
Students go to Blueprint.kids
Students click on "login" in the upper right corner
Students then click on "Signup" NOT "Login"
Students input Class Code (Provided by your teacher), add their first and last name, email, and create a password they can remember.
Student clicks the yellow "Sign up for Blueprint" button and will be taken to the "Mood Check" page. Once they choose a mood, they are taken to their "My Blueprint" page where they see their course.
If their course is locked, the teacher will need to log into their page, go to the class, and make sure lessons are unlocked. Students will need to refresh the page.
