Complete Control Assessment Tasks

Bulk Completing Control Assessment Tasks as Admins

  1. Access Control Assessments:

    • Navigate to the GRC List from the main interface.

    • Click on 'Control Assessments' to access the list of ongoing tasks.

  2. Perform Assessments:

    • For each task, answer the question: "Is Control Implemented?"

    • Depending on your answer, follow the steps below:

      • If "Yes": You must provide either comments or evidence to support the implementation.

      • If "No": You are required to provide a rationale explaining why the control is not implemented.

      • If "N/A" (not applicable): You must also provide a rationale explaining why the control does not apply.

  3. Add Comments or Rationale:

    • Click '+Add' on the task row you select.

    • Type in the text for your comment or rationale and click 'Save' to submit.

  4. Add Evidence:

    • Click '+Add' on the task row you selected.

    • Choose to add evidence from your local device, BoardX Document Centre, or BoardX Policies and Contracts Workspace.

    • Select your file then Click Add

  5. Finalize Task Completion:

    • Once all questions are answered and any necessary evidence or rationale has been submitted, click 'Complete' on the top right of your screen.


Completing Individual Control Assessment Tasks in BoardX

  1. Access Tasks:

    • Click on 'Task' from the left-hand navigation bar on the main interface.

  2. Select Control Assessment Tasks:

    • Navigate to 'My Tasks' and choose 'Control Assessment Tasks' to view your assigned tasks.

  3. Choose a Specific Task:

    • Click on the task you wish to complete to open its detailed page.

  4. Answer the Control Assessment Question:

    • On the task page, respond to the query about whether this control is implemented. Options include 'Yes', 'No', or 'Not Applicable'.

  5. Provide Comments or Rationale:

    • If required, type your comment or rationale in the text box provided and click 'Save'. This is necessary, especially if you select 'No' or 'Not Applicable'.

  6. Upload Evidence:

    • To add evidence, click '+New Evidence'. You can upload from your local device, the BoardX Document Centre, or the BoardX Policies and Contracts Workspace.

  7. Utilize Suggested Evidence:

    • Check for any Evidence Recommendations added by your Admin.

    • To view these recommendations, click on the three grey dots next to the evidence list.

    • Select the appropriate document by checking the checkbox next to it and click 'Add as Evidence' to include it as part of your assessment evidence.

  8. Complete the Assessment:

    • Once all necessary information is provided and evidence is uploaded, click 'Complete Assessment' at the top right of the screen to finalize your task.
