Updated over 5 months ago

To access the media section, simply scroll down to the bottom of the Order Detail page. You will find the media section there, ready for you to manage your files.

Adding Files

Adding files to the media section is a breeze. You can either drag and drop files directly into the media section or click on the "Actions" button and then select "Upload" to choose the file you want to add.

Viewing Technician's Photos and Videos

You can easily view photos and videos that your technicians and contractors have added to their jobs. In the "All Media" drop down menu, you'll be able to look at media added to each specific job on the order.

Adding Captions

Adding captions to your images is a great way to provide a description or context to your files. To add a caption, simply hover over the image and click on "Add Caption". You can also utilize AI Assist to help with cleaning up the spelling and grammar.

Sharing with a Gallery with Customers

Boatyard also allows you to easily share images with your customers. Simply select the images you want to send, click on "Share", and add a personalized message. You can also use AI Assist for spelling and grammar. Once you are ready, click "Send" to email the gallery link to your customer.

All photos and videos that are shared with customers are recorded in the order Timeline.

If you click on 'View Gallery' in the timeline, you will be able to see which files were sent to the customer.

Downloading Images

If you need to download images from the media section, simply select the images you want to download, click on "Actions", and then select "Download". This is a great feature for attaching images to emails or sending them to warranty companies.

Deleting Images

If you need to remove an image from a job or order, simply select the image, click on "Actions", and then hit "Delete". This will remove the image from the media section and the associated job or order.
