If your customer's email address and phone number is in their customer profile, you can send them a service reminder. This is a great way to increase your revenue and strengthen the relationship with your customer.
Creating service reminders can be done manually, or using rules based on the customers last completed order through Boatyard.
If you want to add multiple service reminders at once you can easily do so using our bulk import.
Importing Service Reminders in Bulk
All you need to do is download our Excel template, complete the required information, and then upload it to the dashboard.

You'll need to fill out the following information in the template:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Phone
Boat Make
Boat Model
Boat Length
Boat Year
Reminder Date
Service
From the Reminders page, you'll click on the blue "Bulk Import" button in the top right corner to upload your filled out spreadsheet.

β Once the spreadsheet is uploaded successfully, you'll be able to see all of your scheduled service reminders from the reminders section of your Boatyard Dashboard.
Your customers will receive an email and a text message to remind them to book their next service on the date you've scheduled, at 9:00 am eastern time.
Notes:
If your customer has a primary and a secondary email address, they will both receive the service reminder.
If there is anything wrong with your data, Boatyard will provide a logical error. You'll have to correct the spreadsheet, and then upload again. If you need support, use the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of any page within Boatyard or contact your Customer Success Manager.
