The placement test is automatic and will be delivered to students the first time they log in to Boddle. Students can access placement test questions in any of the game modes.
There are about 50 questions on the test, but Math Facts and Assignments will pause it until they are completed.
Starting the Placement Test
Boddle uses a placement test to determine each student's level of mastery. If your students are brand new to Boddle, the placement test will be automatically delivered to them in the game. You won't need to do anything on your end to get them started!
If your students have used Boddle before, their previous placement may still show on their account. To get a fresh placement, head to the Progress Report and click the little blue half circle next to their name. This will restart the placement test at their new grade level. If you don't see a blue half circle, their placement test is already in progress!
Locating the Placement Test in the Game
Students can access the placement test in any of the game modes. They'll know that they're working on the placement test when the "I don't know this yet" button appears on their screen.
Once the placement test is complete, Boddle will automatically deliver just-right learning content for students within the game!
Viewing Placement Test Results
You can keep track of students' placement test progress on the Progress Report. If their score shows "In Progress," they're still working on the test! If you see a blue half circle, they've finished the test.
Assignments and math facts both override the placement test, so we recommend waiting until students have completed it before accessing those features.
After the Test
After the placement test is completed, Boddle will automatically deliver just-right questions to each student based on the skills they've already mastered, and those that need more practice!

The automatic learning path that Boddle delivers can be overridden by creating an assignment. To learn more about how to create assignments, check out this article.
