Archiving vs. Deleting a Classroom

Archiving a classroom removes it from your Teacher Home Page but keeps its data accessible for future reference. Students will no longer see the class.

Deleting a classroom permanently removes it, along with all associated data, so it cannot be recovered.

We recommend archiving classrooms instead of deleting them to preserve data for future use.

How to Archive a Classroom

  1. Go to your Teacher Home Page and click the gear-shaped Settings icon in the top-right corner of the classroom you want to archive.

  2. Click Archive.

How to Locate and Restore an Archived Classroom

  1. On your Teacher Home Page, click the Archived Classes tab at the top of the page to view archived classrooms.

  2. Find the class you want to restore and click the gear icon.

  3. Select Restore Class to move the class back to your Teacher Home Page.

How to Delete a Classroom

  1. On your Teacher Home Page, find the classroom you want to delete and click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Delete Class, then type DELETE in the pop-up box.

  3. Click the red Submit button to permanently remove the class.

Happy teaching!
