To set Game Locks for your students:

Click into your classroom Select Manage Game Locks

Game Locks help students stay focused by temporarily blocking certain game features. Once set, they’ll automatically repeat on your chosen days until manually adjusted.

How to Enable Game Locks

  1. From your Teacher Dashboard, select your classroom.

  2. Click Manage Game Locks at the top of the page.

Adjusting Game Lock Settings

  1. Select Students – Click Set Game Locks at the top to apply locks to multiple or individual students. Click Next when you're ready.

  2. Choose Features to Lock – Select the features you want to temporarily disable, then click Next.

    • Note: Open World is locked by default.

  3. Set Schedule - Choose which days and times the locks should be active.

  4. Set Unlock Requirements – Decide how many correct answers students need to regain access to the locked features.

When you're done, click Finish Editing to apply the Game Locks.

How Game Locks Work

Game Locks automatically activate when students sign in during the set classroom hours on the selected days. Once they answer the required number of correct questions, the locked features will unlock so they can enjoy all of Boddle's fun features again!

Note: Game Locks will not apply outside of set classroom hours or on U.S. federal holidays.

Happy teaching!
