To print QR Code Log-in Cards, click the "Share log-ins" button on the Classroom Page or the Students Page.

Students can now log in to their Boddle account by holding a unique QR code up to the camera on their device. The QR code is tied to each students individual username and password, and will automatically log them into their account.

Printing Student Log-in Cards

There are two ways to locate and print students' QR log-in cards.

First, you can print students' QR cards by clicking on the blue "Share log-ins" button on your Classroom page. In the pop-up, choose which students you'd like to print cards for and then click "Preview Cards." When the preview pops up, select "Print Cards."

You can also print students' QR cards by clicking on the "Students" button on the far left side of the screen. Click on "Share Student Log-ins" at the top of the screen, and then follow the instructions above for printing.

A student's QR code will remain the same even if their username and password are changed. It will not need to be reprinted each time.

Signing in with QR Cards

Once students have their unique QR card, they can sign in with it on the Boddle homepage. Click "QR Code Log-In" to open the QR Code Scanner.

The first time students log in, they will need to allow camera access by clicking the green "Allow" button or by following the on-screen instructions.

Students will then hold their QR code up to the camera on their device. The square QR code should fit into the square box in the scanner. Once they've scanned the QR code, students will be logged into their account and taken to the game.

Allowing Camera Access

If students are unable to allow camera access through the Boddle website, they can do so in their browser settings. On a computer, click on the lock symbol in the address bar, and click on "Site settings." Then, change the camera access to "Allow."

On an iPad, navigate to the settings and scroll down to Privacy. Click on "Camera" and then locate the Boddle app and ensure permissions are turned on.

Logging in with Clever Badges

If students use a Clever Badge to sign into Boddle, our scanner will not recognize it. Students will need to click the "Sign in with Clever" button and scan their Badge on the Clever page.
