After your onboarding call or proposal review, our Writing Team takes your vision and turns it into a polished scholarship draft. Once it’s ready, you’ll be notified by email. Here’s how to review, give feedback, review and publish:

Step 1 — Open Your Scholarship Draft

  1. Log in to your Bold.org Donor Dashboard

  2. Select Review Proposal on the scholarship you’d like to approve

This will take you to your scholarship draft page.

Step 2 — Review the Content

Take a close look at each element:

  • Title — Does it reflect the spirit of your scholarship?

  • Cover Photo — Does it visually represent your story?

  • Eligibility Criteria — Are the requirements accurate?

  • Scholarship Description — Does the language match your goals?

  • Essay Prompts (if applicable) — Are you gathering the insights you want from applicants?

If anything feels off, don’t worry — we’re happy to revise.

Step 3 — Share Feedback (optional)

You have two quick ways to request updates:

  • Use the changes submission box at the bottom of the draft page

  • Email your Donor Relations Manager directly (or donors@bold.org)

For a new cover photo, simply email the image to us.
Recommended size: 800px x 600px

Step 4 — Publish Your Scholarship

When everything looks great, select Publish Scholarship to complete publishing in three short steps or view this step-by-step guide on How to Fund & Publish Your Scholarship.

#1 Set Winners & Award Timeline

Choose how many students you want to award, set award amounts, and confirm your winner announcement date.

#2 Support the Bold Foundation (Optional)

You can add an optional, tax-deductible contribution that helps power the platform and administer your scholarship.

The Bold Foundation donation is an optional, tax-deductible gift that supports the operations behind your scholarship — things like application review tools, compliance, secure disbursement, fraud prevention, and student support.

Here’s what others choose to give:

  • Most donors add an optional contribution of 10–20%

  • Over 70% of donors include a Bold Foundation donation when creating or renewing a scholarship

These collective gifts keep Bold.org free for every student and help scale scholarships to those who need them most. Your generosity creates more opportunity. 💜

#3 Publish & Fund

Complete checkout to finalize your scholarship and make it live!
