FAQ about Payments

Learn how billing works and how weekly tutoring charges are processed.

Updated over a month ago

How do I pay for lessons?

All payments are processed through your TutorBird account.

During enrollment, you are required to add a valid credit or debit card.

By enrolling in tutoring services, you authorize Bonjour Tutors to process weekly pre-authorized charges for scheduled lessons.

How much do lessons cost?

Private one-on-one tutoring is:

C$40 per 60-minute lesson

This rate applies to the first lesson and all ongoing weekly sessions.

When does billing occur?

Tutoring operates on a weekly, auto-renewing schedule.

Lessons are billed weekly to the card on file.

Billing continues each week unless services are formally paused or cancelled in accordance with our policies.

What happens if I cancel a lesson?

Cancelling a lesson does not remove the weekly charge.

A credit will be issued for a future make-up session.

Credits:

  • May only be used for make-up sessions

  • Are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Cannot be applied to regular weekly lessons

What happens if my child misses a session?

If a lesson is missed without prior cancellation:

  • The lesson is charged in full

  • No credit is issued

What if my card is declined?

A valid payment method must remain on file at all times.

If a charge cannot be processed:

  • Tutoring services may be suspended

  • Future sessions may be paused until payment is resolved

It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure payment information is current.
