Help with email magic links and what to do if you haven't received your link

We use a system called magic link to allow you to sign into your account with an email address. We'll send you an email with a clickable link which opens the app and signs you into your account. For all this to work smoothly, you just need to have access to the inbox of the email you've entered.

If only it were always that simple.

Why haven't I received my magic link?

The first thing to do is double check the email you entered is correct (mistakes happen, we've all been there). The next step is to check your spam folder. Email providers can have some privacy filters setup that you don't know about and might re-direct the magic link to spam just because we're not a known sender.

I've been told my email is unsupported?

We've noticed that some email providers simply won't accept emails from us. We've worked hard with these providers to find a solution and in a lot of cases we've fixed the problem. However, we've identified a small group of providers who have ceased to operate and we've been unable to contact for support.

This means we've had block emails to these domains. The affected domains are:

  • Orange.net

  • Orangehome.co.uk

  • Wanadoo.co.uk

  • Freeserve.co.uk

  • Fsbusiness.co.uk

  • Fslife.co.uk

  • Fsmail.net

  • Fsworld.co.uk

  • Fsnet.co.uk

  • FrenchTelekom

  • DeutscheTelekom

Please check if you have a private domain that's hosted by any one of the providers above as they will also be blocked from receiving emails from us.

I still haven't received my magic link and/ or my email is unsupported, what do I do?

If you need to re-gain access to an account which is not receiving magic links, please get in touch with our support team who will be able to swap the email associated with your account, provided security is cleared.
