Dash allows you to create and manage drivers in one place. Every driver created within Dash will gain access to the OVO Charge app, where they can experience fully subsidised charging alongside all of the features of the app.

You can access driver management by navigating to the ‘Driver Management’ tab.

Driver Creation

  1. Create a driver by selecting ‘Add driver’ in the top right corner.

  2. You will be prompted to enter their first and last names, and their email address. You may also add tag/s to the driver.

  3. Select ‘Add driver’

Once these steps are complete an invite will be sent to the driver’s email address prompting them to log in. If this is successful, then they will have full access to the OVO Charge app and will be able to start charging.

  • They must use the link on a mobile device for it to direct them to download or open the app. If they have opened the link on a desktop computer, it will not work.

Please note that the driver will be added to your subscription plan when they have activated their account. Any charging performed by them will be billed to you at the end of the month.

Troubleshooting

If there is a problem (such as they cannot find the email) then you can select ‘Re-send email’ using the three dots next to their name. If this is still not successful, the email may have ended up in their spam folder. If there is no invite then please see the ‘Troubleshooting’ section.

If you want to cancel driver creation before a driver has been activated, then you can select 'Delete account' using the three dots next to their name. This will remove the driver from the driver list. You will be able to try again either with the same or a different email address.

Driver De-activation

If a driver has left your company or does not need to be on your plan for any reason, you can de-activate them by selecting ‘De-activate driver’. This is a permanent change that cannot be reversed.

The driver will be marked as ‘De-activated’ in the Driver management screen. All of their charging records will remain for viewing or download, see the ‘Charging Records’ section.

Their account will remain active if they wish to use it for personal charging, but the account will be disassociated from your company. If they wish to use the account for charging they will have to add a payment method.

None of their charging will be billed to you from that date and time, and they will be removed from your subscription after the end of the current billing month.

Driver Management

Dash allows you to filter on driver status and their tags, as well as search for a driver.

Driver names can also be edited by clicking on them. You can add existing or new tags to drivers by selecting the 'Tag' column.
