❗ Charging rewards are only available to Boost users (Light or Turbo)

Charging rewards do very much what they say on the tin; they're points issued for successful sessions at certain charger types. Theses rewards refresh on a weekly basis so they can be claimed repeatedly. Rewardable actions include:

  • Charging at a rapid charger (43kW+)

    • You'll earn a point for the first eligible charge per calendar week at a rapid charger (any charger with a power rating of 43kW+).

See below to check what factors need to be met for a charge to be eligible for a point. Charges that don't meet the criteria below will not be credited with a point.

  • Charging at a street charger (3-22kW)

    • You'll earn a point for the first eligible charge per calendar week at a street charger (any charger with a power rating of between 3-22kW).

  • Charging on a connector that doesn't have any charging attempts recorded by another OVO Charge user

    • You'll earn a point for recording the first eligible, successful session at connector with no recorded charging attempts by a OVO Charge user.

What factors determine if a charge is eligible for a charging reward?

  • You must be on a Light or Turbo Boost subscription

  • A minimum payment of £5/ €5/ CHF5/ SEK65 must be made from the payment method associated with your account. This amount cannot come from legacy, reward, referral or any other promo credit

  • If a charging reward point has already been issued once in a calendar week, another one cannot be issued (even if a charge is eligible) until the following week

    • The start date and time is used to determine which week a session should be attributed to

  • Rewards are issued based on advertised charge speed and not on real charge speed

  • Multiple reward points can be earned for a single session. For instance, if a charge is completed for the first time in a week at a street charger (3-22kW) and the connector hasn't had any charging attempts yet, provided the charge is eligible, this would issue 2 points

  • Points will only be issued once payment has been taken for the session in full. 99.5% of our charging data is received within 1 day so please allow a few hours for charging data to be sent to us from the network as there are sometimes delays (we can only bill for the session once we have the complete charging data)
