Q: How will Bonnet change now that it is owned by OVO?

A: The Bonnet app you know will now be named OVO Charge - Powered by Bonnet. Alongside its new name, it will also look slightly different. Branding is now OVO green and white, rather than pink and black. Even though the app looks different, the feel and functionality is still Bonnet - that's why OVO Charge is powered by Bonnet.

Q: Will I notice any differences when I open the OVO Charge app?

A: Nothing inside the app (other than the colour scheme) has changed. The layout, features and functionality remain the same as before the rebrand. The only changes you will see are to the colour scheme, logo and name, to align with our new branding.

Q: Do I need to be an OVO customer to use the OVO Charge app?

A: No, there is no need to be an OVO energy customer in order to use the OVO Charge app. It will continue to be accessible and fully functional for all EV drivers, whether or not you are an OVO energy customer.

Q: Will my existing Boost package change with the transition to OVO Charge?

A: Any subscriptions or memberships you had with Bonnet will remain unchanged. So any discount or benefits like those available with Boosts will remain available to you. As always, should you want to cancel your Boost, you can do so at any time. You can expect the same level of service and value.

Q: What should I expect in terms of future updates or changes to the app?

A: During this transition period, the app’s core functionality and how you use it will remain unchanged. We will keep you informed about any changes that may impact you or your experience over the coming months.

Q: Is there anything I need to do following the rebranding to OVO Charge?

A: No, you can continue to use the app as usual. The transition to OVO branding is intended to be seamless and will not affect your user experience.
