Removal of Countries from OVO Charge

From the 1st July 2024 you won’t be able to charge your car via the OVO Charge app in:

  • Italy

  • Luxembourg

  • Spain

  • Sweden

  • Switzerland

  • Austria

If your device is registered to any of the above locations, you will no longer receive updates to the app, and the app may eventually stop working.

If you are registered in one of these countries, your account won’t be deleted – and you’ll still be able to use the app to charge your EV if you’re travelling through a country that supports Charge Anywhere. You can use your OVO Charge app in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to our customer support team via our in-app chat.

What happens to my Boost subscription?

We will automatically cancel your Boost subscription on the 1st of July. If your Boost subscription renews close to this date, we recommend cancelling it before the renewal date in order to not be charged for the full month. Our support team will be assisting with Boost refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you think you qualify for a pro-rata refund, you can reach out to our customer support team via our in-app chat.

You will no longer be able to purchase a Boost subscription in CHF or SEK.

What happens to the chargers in these countries?

We will be removing all chargers in these countries from the app. You will still be able to see the charging history of any charge you made in these locations, but you will not be able to see or select any chargers in the closed countries.

Chargers in the closed countries will also be removed from the Route Planner.
