Clients are not required to have a Bonsai account in order to accept proposals, sign contracts, or pay invoices on Bonsai.

Even if your client is paying an invoice via bank transfer, they will not need to sign up for a Bonsai account if they can log into their bank account using our secure banking partner, Plaid. The only exception is if they need to set up their bank account using micro-deposits, then they will need to create a Bonsai account to verify 2 micro-deposits and proceed.

However, in most cases they should be able to find their bank and log in for instant verification without needing to create a Bonsai account.

If they do need to create a Bonsai account, it only takes 1 minute and we do not send them any other emails aside from the ones associated with your payment.
