How to upload files on projects
Uploading files to your projects is a great way to share with your clients and to save them within your projects for the foreseeable future.
Note: File uploads are visible only to you, your partners and the client on the project. Collaborators do not currently have access to project files.
Steps:
Navigate to More > Projects from the sidebar.
Select the project you want to upload files to.
Within the Overview tab, go to Documents & Links and click the "+" button → Add File.
In the modal that opens:
Upload your file (PDFs, images, audio, video, etc.)
Confirm the filename
Maximum file size: 40 MB
Once uploaded, the file appears in your project’s Documents & Links, accessible to both you and your client.
Files can be deleted at any time if needed.
Client Sharing: Clients can also upload files from their Client Portal in the same manner, making collaboration seamless.
How to share links on projects
Sharing links allows you to centralize key resources for your client, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or other URLs.
Note: Shared links are visible only to you, your partners and the client on the project. Collaborators do not currently have access to project links.
Steps:
In the Documents & Links section, click "+" → Add Link.
Enter the link in the modal and confirm it.
The link will appear in your project’s Documents & Links, accessible to both you and your client.
How to send emails and attachments from projects
You can send files directly to clients via email from within your project. This method ensures professional communication and keeps emails visible in the project timeline.
Benefits:
Professional branding: Uses white-label branding configured for your account.
Project visibility: Emails and attachments remain in the Activity timeline for future reference.
Steps:
Click Send Email next to the Activity timeline in your project.
In the modal:
Compose your email
Add attachments as needed
Send the email.
Review the sent email and any client responses in the Activity timeline.
