Creating Tasks

There are several ways to create tasks in Bonzo, ensuring you and your team can stay organized and efficient.

From the Tasks Tab

  1. From your dashboard, navigate to the "Tasks" tab under the "General" tab on your sidebar.

  2. By default, you will see all your current, upcoming, overdue, and completed tasks, as well as birthdays and power dial groups.

By toggling the "Show Team" button, Team Leads can see tasks assigned to themselves and their team members.

  3. To add a task, click the pink "+Add Task" button in the top right of your screen.

  4. From here you'll then be able to fill out the task details, such as the title, description, sub-items, assigned team member, task type (e.g., phone call, voicemail, follow-up), priority level, and schedule.

You can also set a reminder, add a frequency for recurring tasks, and sync it to your calendar if integrated. For example, you might create a task titled "Prospect Check-in" to follow up on a potential client’s readiness to move forward in the loan process.

  5. Finally, you can "Disposition" your task to update your team members on its progress.

Dispositions can be created by Team Leads or any team member with the appropriate permissions by clicking on the "Manage Task Disposition" button in the top right. Examples of dispositions include: Stuck, In Progress, Needs Clarification, and Not Yet Started.

    From the People Tab

  1. Use advanced or quick filters to select a group of contacts and click the "+" symbol to reveal more actions on the quick action Toolbar.

  2. Then click "Add Task." You will see the task creation tab with a reminder of how many contacts you've selected for this task. This method is useful for adding tasks for multiple contacts in bulk.

From a Contact's Profile

  1. Navigate to the contact's profile, and from the conversation view, scroll down under "Prospect Data" to the tasks button.

  2. Click the "+Tasks" button and you will see the task creation tab. Now you have the ability to create a new task for that specific contact this is helpful for following up on conversations or actions required after a call.

From an Auto-Dial Session

During an auto-dial call, if action steps or follow-ups are needed, click on the "Actions" tab to create a task. This ensures that important follow-ups discussed on the call are not missed.

Setting Up a Power Dial Group

You can use Tasks to set up a "Power Dial Group" for yourself or your team members. This feature enables you to quickly organize an auto-dial session with a specific group of contacts and assign it to yourself or another team member.

  1. From the people tab, select a person or group of people, click the plus sign on the quick action toolbar, and select "Add Task."

  2. In the the task creation tab, select the "Type" dropdown, choose "Power Dial Group," and after you fill out the rest of the task info, click "Save."

  3. This task will then appear in the "Power Dial Group" section under your "Tasks" tab. When you or your team member assigned to this task are ready to start the session, click on it, and all of your contacts for the session will be grouped and ready for calling.

Task Visibility

Your assigned tasks will be visible both in your Tasks tab and on your Dashboard for easy access and visibility. Note that these are only your assigned tasks. Team leads can view their team's tasks by navigating to the Tasks tab.
