In Bonzo, automating birthday and loaniversary messages simplifies celebrating your contacts important milestones.
*The "Birthday and Loaniversary Messages" can now be found under the "Messaging" dropdown in your sidebar navigation.
From your dashboard, navigate to the "Messaging" dropdown, and click on the "Anniversary Messages." Here you'll find settings for both birthday and loaniversary messages.
Within these settings, you can craft messages that will automatically send at noon on the respective dates.
Each type of message—email, SMS, and voicemail—can be individually customized with merge tags and saved. For instance, you might set up an email, a text message, and a voicemail that will all reach your contacts at noon on their respective birthdays or loanaversaries, or maybe you’ll choose to send just one type of communication.
It’s important to note that automated birthday and loaniversary text messages and voicemails incur a token cost when they are sent out. For more questions about tokens, please contact your team lead or navigate to the billing section in your “Company tab.”
If you have certain contacts that don’t want to receive Birthday or Loanaversary messages, you can easily opt them out. To do this, select the contacts and click the “plus” icon on the Quick Action Toolbar labelled “More Actions.” Then click on “Birthday and Anniversary Status."
Toggle the appropriate status for these messages, and click the save button in the lower right.
Additionally, Bonzo's task section displays upcoming birthdays to help you prepare in advance. One way you can view these is by clicking “Check Today’s Birthdays” at the top of the Birthday Messages tab.
Another way is by navigating to "Tasks" and selecting the "Upcoming Birthdays" tab at the top.
Details of each contact’s birthday and loaniversary are pulled from the information you've entered in the “Details” and “Mortgage” sections within their individual contact records. If there is no information in the “Birthday” or “Close Date” fields, these messages won’t send.
Lastly, you can toggle birthday and loaniversary messaging directly from the contact's page under their prospect data.
Automating your contact’s Birthday & Loaniversary messages is an excellent way to streamline your outreach efforts and ensure timely greetings are never missed.
