Updated over a week ago

In Bonzo, you have the flexibility to configure settings globally by navigating to the "Options" dropdown on your campaigns homepage, or fine-tune settings for each campaign individually. Let's dive into the specific settings for an individual campaign, offering you more customization options.

Adjust Your Settings:

When you're in the campaign you wish to configure, click on the settings button in the top right corner.

Settings List

Campaign Details

  • Campaign Name: This setting allows you to change the name of the campaign

  • Schedule Start Date: Choose a specific day and time to start the campaign messaging (particularly effective for Date Based Campaigns).

  • Stop Sequence When Prospect Responds: When you toggle this on and someone responds to your campaign, the following event messages in your sequence will not be sent.

  • Enable disclaimer: If toggled on, this will send the opt-out messaging located in your Company tab

  • Use Prospects Local Timezone: This setting calculates the time zone based off the contact's area code associated with their phone number.

  • Exclude National Holidays: When you toggle this setting on, the campaign event messages will not go out if they happen to fall on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas.

  • Lock for Team Members: This setting locks campaign event messages, preventing team members from editing them.

  • Campaign Access and Round Robin: This setting lets you manage team member access to campaigns and their specific permissions. You can grant access individually or use round-robin allocation to evenly distribute new leads among team members.

Sending

  • Cutoff Time: Specify the time frame in which you would like the campaign to send messages (i.e. business hours 9AM - 5PM). With this example, if you were to add a contact to the Campaign at 8:45AM, they wouldn't receive the message until 9:00AM. However, if you were to add a contact after the cut off time (5PM), Bonzo will wait until the next available date and time to send the message.

  • Sending Days: You can also select the days of the week you would like the campaign to run. If you select just one day (i.e. Wednesday), it will only send messages on that specific day. Standard sending days are Mon-Fri.

Make sure you establish these settings before you enable the campaign and add contacts. Once a campaign is running, you will not be able to edit the sending times or days.

Other Settings

  • Buffer Email: When toggled on, Bonzo will send out an email to any contacts that join the campaign through automated channels like webhooks, landing pages, or ads, separate from the scheduled campaign messages, and outside of your sending window.

  • Buffer SMS: When toggled on, Bonzo will send out an SMS to any contacts that join the campaign through automated channels like webhooks, landing pages, or ads, separate from the scheduled campaign messages, and outside of your sending window.

  • Sender Identification: If enabled, each text message to a new prospect will contain sender identification defined in the "Company" tab.

  • Loop: Create a loop for people that don't respond to campaign event messages, either looping them back to the start OR to another campaign.

  • Tagging: Create a bulk tag that will be associated with every new contact that is dropped into the campaign.

  • Pipeline: Connect contacts to an established Pipeline and Pipeline stage when one enters this campaign.

Advanced Settings

  • Campaign owner: Designate the team member who owns the campaign. The campaign owner establishes all settings and permissions.

  • Email preference: You can choose to send emails either through your integrated email or via Bonzo's server. Opting for Bonzo's server is beneficial when sending over 500 emails at a time as it safeguards your email health score and enhances deliverability. For smaller email batches, using your integrated email is the typical choice.

Bonzo equips you with the necessary controls to craft a campaign that fits your unique requirements. Take the time to explore and adjust these settings to maximize the effectiveness of your campaigns and ensure they are well-prepared for your audience.
