As an artist, you want your artwork to be shown exactly as you created it. Sometimes, when uploading images to a portfolio, it can be tricky to avoid cropping. Don’t worry! Here’s an easy guide to upload your artwork without cropping anything out.
Step 1: Go to Your Portfolio Screen
First, navigate to your portfolio screen where you wish to upload your art. This is where all your existing artwork is displayed, and where you’ll be adding new pieces.
Step 2: Click the Upload Main Image area/"+" Icon to Upload
Once you're on the portfolio screen, click on the "+" icon, usually located in the right corner of your screen. This will open the option to add new images.
Step 3: Select Your Image
Choose the image(s) you want to upload from your device’s gallery. Make sure to select the full image you intend to showcase.
For Web Users:
When uploading on the web, you will be asked to select the area of the image you want to upload. However, to avoid cropping, be sure to select the entire area of your artwork as it appears or click on the skip button.
For iOS Users:
If you’re uploading through an app on an iOS device, once you select your image, look for the button at the bottom of the screen that allows you to choose the resolution of your image. Ensure that you select Original to avoid cropping out the image.
For Android Users:
On Android devices, when you upload your image, you might see a "cross" icon (an X). Click on this icon to upload the full-size image without any cropping. This ensures that the entire artwork is visible in your portfolio.
